 Safety course for new shooters – Sunday 2. October at 12:00

NB! This course is held in English, even if your native language is Norwegian, you are of course welcome on this course. It will be possible to take the theory test in Norwegian. 

The safety course is a collection of safety and beginner training, attendance of new shooters and introduction to the shooting sport and is necessary in order to begin with pistol shooting.

The course runs over one day, approx. 8 hours starting at 12.00.

The main thread of the course is SAFETY, as well as an introduction to weapons, the functioning of weapons and techniques for shooting. In addition, there is an introduction to NSF (Norwegian Shooting Federation), and information about various shooting organizations. There is also an introduction to how the sport of shooting works, with a focus on competitive shooting.

The course concludes with practical shooting, and a theoretical test.
The course is held in the club’s premises at Mellomvegen 79 and lasts for 8 hours.

The course is two-part, one part consists of theory and the other part consists of shooting training. You may want to bring packed lunch and warm clothes, as it can be a bit cold inside the mountain on Mellomvegen.

We keep coffee and biscuits. It is also possible to buy mineral water from us.

The course costs NOK. 750, – for members and NOK 1000, – for non-members. It is possible to join Tromsø Pistol Club at the course. The course fee and any membership are payable on the course. We accept all major cards, cash, and Vipps.
